Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Sazio mobile app (“Sazio,” “the app,” “we,” or “us”), published by Broad River Studios LLC, handles information when you use the app. Sazio is a pass-and-play game that helps a group decide what to eat by swiping on meal cards.

The short version

• We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• Your game data (history, favorites, taste preferences, settings) is stored only on your device.
• We show ads through Google AdMob, which collects limited device data to deliver ads.
• Some links (e.g. “Shop ingredients”) go to Amazon, and we may earn an affiliate commission.

Information stored on your device

Sazio saves your swipes, winners, remembered favorites, and preferences locally on your device so the app can learn your tastes and show your history. This information is not transmitted to us and stays on your device unless you delete the app, which removes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display ads. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process information such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and ad-interaction (usage) data. By default Sazio requests non-personalized ads. AdMob’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Affiliate links (Amazon)

When you tap a shopping link such as “Shop ingredients,” the app opens Amazon in your browser or the Amazon app. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases as an Amazon Associate. Once you leave Sazio, Amazon’s own privacy policy applies.

Location

Sazio does not collect or store your location. The “Find Nearby” feature simply opens your device’s Maps app with a search for the chosen dish; any location use happens inside that Maps app under its own policy.

Your choices

• iOS: control ad tracking in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and reset your advertising identifier in Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising.
• Android: reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Privacy › Ads.
• Delete the app to remove all locally stored game data.

Children

Sazio is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your rights (GDPR / California)

Because we do not collect personal information that identifies you, we hold no personal profile to access or delete. For data processed by Google AdMob, please use Google’s privacy tools and the device controls listed above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
